Quarantined Museum
Dear museum-goers,
Quarantined Museum is a space of virtual exchange where the public is invited to react artistically to a theme, and partake in a virtual exhibition. The Musée d’art de Joliette (MAJ) team shares perspectives or finds about the theme throughout the month on the Quarantined Museum blog. We encourage the public to interact by commenting on our blog posts and submitting artwork for our online exhibitions. The community’s creativity is at the very heart of this new virtual space.
How to participate?
Each first Thursday of the month, a different theme is proposed via a dedicated post on the blog. The artistic responses can take various forms (photo, video, drawing, engraving, painting, sculpture, installation, etc.) and even borrow from literature, as long as there is a link to the visual arts and to the theme of the week. Every first Thursday of the month, our virtual gallery will reveal all the creations we received and a new theme will be released.
Welcome to our Quarantined Museum!
