This season our curatorial team is proposing a selection of three pieces inspired by the work of Philippe Allard, whose installations are created from poor materials and revitalized by their recycling through art.
In the small space on the 3rd floor is thus on display a work by Roger Bellemare, Blanc de mémoire (fin de la guerre), and two by artists of the arte povera movement, Arman’s Accumulation Paint Brushes and Jannis Kounellis’s Senza titolo (Trittico). Recently acquired by the MAJ, the selected works were produced during the second half of the 20th century.
